The centerpiece of the Stumpjumper 15 is GENIE, a patent-pending air spring technology that combines the control-enhancing linear spring rate of a coil spring through the bump zone with the progressive spring rate of an air spring at the end of the stroke. This hybrid approach provides the feel and control of a coil spring, better bottom-out prevention than a standard air spring, and a tunable platform for a playful ride. GENIE delivers measurably superior performance compared to traditional air-sprung shocks. The technology provides 16.3% better bump force management, allowing the 145mm rear travel Stumpjumper 15 to absorb bumps as effectively as a 170mm travel enduro bike. Field testing demonstrates 57% better traction than a standard air-sprung shock because the supple, coil-like performance keeps the wheel in contact with the ground more consistently. Additionally, GENIE reduces bottom-outs by 39% compared to standard air springs through its two-stage rising rate in the final 30% of the stroke. The geometry is carefully honed to deliver big bike capability when needed, nimble handling in tight sections, and efficient climbing. The generous cockpit centers the rider for optimized traction and corner control, while the low bottom bracket, slack head tube angle, and optimized fork offset maintain stability in rough terrain. The Stumpjumper 15 features six distinct geometry settings for unmatched personalization. Head angle and bottom bracket height can be fine-tuned for stability or clearance. With aftermarket shock links, riders can choose between 29" wheels front and rear or mix a 27.5" rear for a more responsive and playful ride without affecting geometry. SWAT 4.0 provides integrated downtube storage with smooth operation and weather resistance. The bike is built with a lightweight FACT 11m carbon chassis and rear-end, paired with a Ride Dynamics tuned FOX FLOAT X Performance Elite shock featuring Specialized GENIE technology. The FOX FLOAT 36 Performance Elite fork with GRIP X2 damper provides supportive, tunable suspension.
