The Deluxe Carbon Fiber Frame is Salsa's most premium carbon fiber offering, using ultra-high-modulus carbon fiber to shave around 150 grams off the weight of their standard carbon construction without compromising durability, stiffness, or ride quality. Salsa's Class 5™ VRS (Vibration Reduction System) features seatstays and chainstays shaped to promote vertical compliance and lateral stiffness for a smooth and straight-tracking ride. The Flyway Carbon fork accommodates 700c x 57mm tire clearance and includes Three-Pack and rack mounts, fender mounts, and internal brake hose routing through the headset and steerer tube for a super-clean look. The frame is suspension-corrected to fit 40mm gravel bike suspension forks. Progressive geometry with a long reach and short stem, combined with a low bottom bracket and slack head tube angle, maximize stability and confidence. Short chainstays offer responsive handling, and symmetrical dropped chainstays combined with a steep seat tube angle deliver excellent power transfer. The frame features top tube bag mounts, generous bottle capacity, direct-mount frame bag mounts, rack and fender mounts, and through-headset cable routing to keep cockpits clean and keep hoses and housing out of the way of handlebar bags and accessories. Flyway can fit a 700c x 50mm tire in the frame and a 700c x 57mm tire in the fork.
