The Stumpjumper 15 is designed to eliminate trade-offs in trail riding, delivering big bike bump absorption with short-travel control, playfulness, and efficiency. The frameset features a lightweight FACT 11m carbon chassis with 145mm of rear wheel travel and integrates Specialized's patent-pending GENIE shock technology. GENIE shock technology combines the control-enhancing linear spring rate of a coil spring through the bump zone with the progressive spring rate of an air spring at the end of the stroke to prevent bottom-outs. This hybrid approach delivers the best characteristics of both coil and air springs with extra tunability. Testing shows GENIE provides 16.3% better bump force management than traditional air springs, 57% better traction, and 39% fewer bottom-outs. The geometry is optimized for big bike capability when needed, nimble handling in tight sections, and efficient climbing. A low bottom bracket, slack head tube angle, and optimized fork offset maintain stability in rough terrain. The generous cockpit centers the rider for improved traction and corner control. The Stumpjumper 15 offers six distinct geometry settings for personalization, with adjustable head angle and bottom bracket height for fine-tuning stability or clearance. Wheel choice flexibility allows mixing 27.5" and 29" wheels or running big wheels front and rear without affecting geometry. SWAT 4.0 internal downtube storage provides smooth, weather-resistant, flush-mounted carrying capacity.
